Part 1 - Heidelberg, Germany Heidelberg is well located and easily accessible by plane, car or train. The conference will take place in the Heidelberg Convention Center (Kongresshaus/Stadthalle), in the center of Heidelberg. Frankfurt Airport to Heidelberg Convention Center
Heidelberg is one hour away from Frankfurt airport. Transfers are available by the Lufthansa Airport Bus to Heidelberg (arrival at the back side of Crown Plaza Hotel). Opposite the main entrance of Crown Plaza Hotel you can take bus No. 33
or tram No. R5 or 21 to "Bismarckplatz". Change to bus No. 31 or 32 in
the direction of "Universitätsplatz". Get off at the bus stop
"Kongresshaus/Stadthalle". Door-to-door shuttle service between Frankfurt Airport and Heidelberg is offered by TLS.

Arriving by Train and Public Transport to Heidelberg Convention Center
From the main station (Hauptbahnhof) you can take bus No. 32 in the direction of "Universitätsplatz". Get off at the bus stop "Kongresshaus/Stadthalle". Buses run from 05.30 a.m. to 24.00 p.m. in regular 10 minute intervals, with a journey time of approximately 12 minutes.
Further information regarding fares and timetables of local Heidelberg transport services, are available from the Ticket/Information Office (HSB), situated on "Bismarckplatz", from the bus drivers themselves, or via Transport Enquiries Tel: +49 (0) 6221/5 13 20 00. In Heidelberg you can use buses, trams, taxis or simply walk. To use the public transport you need to purchase a single journey before getting on the tram or bus. Arriving by Car and Parking
Drive along the autobahn A5/A656 (Darmstadt-Karlsruhe/Basel) and take the exit "Autobahnkreuz Heidelberg". Follow the signs to Heidelberg. As you approach the town, you will find signposts clearly directing the way to the "Kongresshaus Stadthalle" (Heidelberg Convention Center). Once you have reached the "Kongresshaus Stadthalle", there is ample underground car parking space, located right next to the Convention Centre. Simply follow the signs marked P8/P6, which will guide you to the appropriate car parking areas.
